Nathan James is a globally distributed/remote company and has been since day 1. This means we don't confine candidate pools to certain geographic areas (or countries)! As a Recruiter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that we are hiring the best possible talent to sustain and contribute to our growth. This individual will work cross-functionally, develop strong relationships with hiring managers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring  we maintain a great candidate experience for everyone we interact with. experience for all candidates.

The Recruiter will be a part of our growing People Operations team and will report day to day into our Lead Recruiter. You will work closely with our Lead Recruiter to work toward achieving our 2021 hiring plan, and continuously improve the recruiting process while keeping efficiency, results, and a human touch at the forefront. 

Your key areas of responsibility will center around running and facilitating the full-cycle recruiting process across all functions. Which is primarily (but is not limited to) posting roles on various job boards, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting interviews, communicating with hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring process, conducting reference checks, completing offer calls, and closing candidates.

You are insanely organized and thrive when using different tools to optimize your day-to-day. You have high emotional intelligence, and a desire to work with a group of passionate, caring, and thoughtful teammates. You can easily build trust and communicate with clarity, influence, partnership, and inspiration across many different types of audiences.

For this role we do require that your normal workday has at least 4 hours overlap with the North American workday (currently UTC-5) without impinging on your personal/family life. 

This is a remote role since we are a remote company! You’re free to work where you work best, anywhere in the world: home office, coworking space, or coffee shops. That hinges on effective writing, self-discipline, and comfort with open communication.
