Exactly the piece I was looking for to use in our tiny townhouse nook area- perfect! My husband noticed a slight crack in the wood on the top shelf which I had not, but it's barely noticeable and doesn't compromise the quality. I paid a handyman to put it together and he commented that the quality was very good.

Received well packed. Purchased 3 of them for a large bookcase in my living room. Easy to put together . Need adjusting on the door hinges to allow the doors to hang evenly. To get the book cases to line up together adjust the feet that are on the legs.

This particular piece is more expensive than the average ready-to-assemble bookshelf, but in my opinion so worth it. It looks just as it appears in photos with its high quality, mid century vibe. This was my third purchase from Nathan James and I've come to appreciate the designers' approach to assembly. I generally find it starts out really easy, so you feel like you're accomplishing quite a bit within the first 20 minutes. The slightly more annoying steps are generally at the end, though at that point you're pumped to be past the finish line. Overall a good user exerperience, from assembly and beyond.
