Mid-Century Modern Fluted Desk with Drawer

We purchased two of these for our office and couldn’t be happier. They’re modern, sturdy, and sleek, with a small footprint—exactly what we were looking for. Each one took about 30 minutes to assemble, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Delivery was fast, and customer service has always been helpful. These are our 5th and 6th pieces of furniture from Nathan James, and we continue to be very satisfied customers!

It is both functional and beautiful. It was easy to put together too!

It looks lovely and is study. Good quality. I use it both for my office and vanity table. Plenty of storage space for my items.

The desk is beautiful and the wood is solid and heavy . However given how heavy the top is, the legs are not thick enough to provide a sturdy base, so the table wobbles/shakes every time I type.

I have real mixed feelings on this purchase. The materials are nicer than I would have thought. The desk is heavy duty and the design is great. However, we had an issue with nearly 7 out of 7 items in our order and trying to get information on the status of the resolution has been difficult. Nathan James won't ship out replacement parts, they'll just provide a replacement. So, we'll have a lot of waste trying to get units without manufacturing defects. It's been a week of back and forth emails and I'm not sure if or when the repleacements will show up. Then the process of taking everything apart and reassembling will begin. It took about a day and a half to put together a desk, 3 bookcases and 3 cabinets. Additionally, it's been hard to get replacements, even though we've supplied pictures. The desk we received had a fade of finish along the top. It's slight, but this is one that we were not offereed any replacemenrt for. We'll likely have stuff on top of the desk, so it's likely not a huge issue long-term, but it would have been great to get what was advertised. All that to say, the materials are better than I expected, the design is robust, however the manufacturing quality (edge banding, finishing, etc) has been a little spotty and support has been quick in offering half measures.
