Iris Cabinet Video Contest
What we're looking for
Beautiful storytelling content that showcases our Iris cabinet(s) in real customer homes. Where did you place your cabinets? How did you decorate them? What are you using them for — extra storage, a TV stand? Did you buy a single cabinet, or a set?
Sample concepts
1. Intro - What were you looking for when you started your search for a cabinet? Was there a specific problem you were looking to fix?
- "I was having trouble keeping my ________ [room or space] clean and organized."
- "I was looking to add a credenza to my entryway to add more storage."
- "I was looking for a TV stand that was beautiful, priced right, and was modular to perfectly fit my wall."
2. Iris in your home - Show where you placed your cabinets, how you styled them, and if they met your expectations or solved any of your initial problems.
- "Then I got these Iris cabinets from Nathan James, and they've helped a ton."
- "After adding these Iris cabinets from Nathan James, my entryway looks straight out of a designer magazine!"
- "I styled three Iris cabinets side-by-side to create one long TV stand to perfectly fit my wall. They've elevated my living room and have added a ton of hidden storage."
3. Outro - Do you recommend the Iris cabinet(s)? Would you recommend Nathan James to your family/friends?
- "Check them out!"
- "I recommend going to look at their cabinets and seeing how many you need for your space."
- "I hope you like them! Bye."
Filming tips
- Film vertical (9:16) and with a minimum resolution of 1080p
- Keep it 15-30 seconds
- Use your own voice / original audio — trending audio or Instagram's music library disqualifies your entry
- Capture content in bright, natural lighting (face a window if you can)
- We'd love to see a voiceover added so we can hear more about your story
- If your schedule allows, consider posting during the contest's final weekend (September 12–13) — we'd love to see everyone's videos land around the same time and make it a fun moment. Just make sure your entry is submitted by 11:59 PM ET on September 13.
Prizes
- Everyone who qualifies - $100 in Nathan James store credit
- Grand prize - $1,000 cash prize (1 winner)
- Runner-up - $500 cash prize each (2 winners)
How we pick winners
Three things, weighted equally:
- Creativity — did you do something interesting with it
- Video quality — lighting, framing, clear audio
- How well the cabinet and your space come through
Winners are picked on or around September 21, 2026 and notified by email within three business days.
Know before you post
Here's what you need to know before posting. This is a summary, not a substitute. Please read the Official Rules in full before entering. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by the Official Rules in their entirety.
Who can enter
Residents of the 50 US states and DC, 18+, who purchased a Nathan James Iris cabinet within the past 24 months. One entry (and one $100 reward) per person and per household.
What counts as a valid entry
- #ad is the very first thing in your caption. Not at the bottom with your other hashtags, not in a comment.
- No trending audio or Instagram's music library. Use your own voice, or music you created or have licensed for commercial and advertising use.
- Original footage you filmed yourself — no stock clips, no borrowed content
- Vertical (9:16), 15–30 seconds, minimum 1080p resolution
- Posted publicly from a public Instagram account (private accounts can't be verified)
- Somewhere in your caption, add the tag @nathanjames and include #NathanJamesIris
- Anyone else on camera has to give you permission in writing. If anyone under 18 appears, you have to be their parent or guardian
- Your post has to stay up, public, and unedited through November 30, 2026
What happens after you post
We verify entries within about 5 business days and send store credit within 5 business days after that. Winners are picked on or around September 21, 2026 and notified by email within 3 business days. Store credit expires 24 months from issue.
If you win a cash prize
Grand prize and runner-up winners grant Nathan James the right to use their video in marketing, including paid ads, and agree to send us a copy of the post plus the original raw file (no added music or voiceover), minimum 1080p. You'll also need to complete a W-9 before your prize is issued. Don't want to grant those rights? You can decline the cash prize and keep your $100 store credit — no penalty either way.
Filmed and posted? Submit your entry.
One entry per person and per household. Entries close September 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
